Getting Around Reno
Reno Travel Tip
I like walking and the casinos in downtown Reno are all within walking
distance of one another, however, some, like the Atlantis Resort and Casino and the Hilton are
not, so it's nice to have a car. Car rentals are available at most casinos
and at the airport.
All the major players are there, including Avis (775-785-2720,
800-331-1212); Budget (775-785-2690, 800-527-0700), Thrifty (775-329-0096,
800-367-2277), Dollar Rent-A-Car (775-348-2800, 800-800-4000) and National
(775-785-2756, 800-227-7368).
Local bus transportation runs up and down Virginia Street. A bus depot is
located across from the new bowling arena on Center Street where you can
pick up a schedule. Taxi service is available from Capitol Cab
(775-885-0300).
