Getting to Vegas
Las Vegas Travel Tip
Las Vegas is the destination point for major airlines around the world, including non-stop flights
from Frankfurt, Germany, Tokyo, Japan, and Souel, Korea. The McCarran International Airport
expanded its facilities in 1998, bringing in about forty-four percent of the more than 30 million
people that arrived that year. Many motor coach tour operators offer packages that include bus
transportation.
Several major highways service Las Vegas, including Interstate 15 from southern California.
Forty-six percent of the visitors arrive by car, seven percent by bus and the rest come in RV's. If
you arrive by car or RV, you have the pleasure of exploring the surrounding mountains, like the
ones in the photo on your left.
