Las Vegas Weather
Las Vegas Travel Tip
Because of its position on the globe, Las Vegas enjoys good weather most of the time, typical to
the desert climate in the southwest. Lots of sunshine (average sunny days 294); little rain (annual
rainfall slightly over 4 inches); cool nights (it has been known to drop to a freezing 32 degrees
Fahrenheit once or twice); and warm to hot days.
In the midsummer months, temperatures can climb over 100 degree fahrenheit, but most casinos
are air-conditioned and heat is rarely a problem. Wear protective sun screen and a hat if you plan
on lounging around the pool or going hiking in the hills.
