Getting to Fiji
Mamanuca Islands Travel Tip
There are four carriers to Fiji from North America. Air Pacific (800/227-4446); Canadian
Airlines, (800/426-7000); Air New Zealand (800/262-1234 or 800-438-2543) and Quantas
(800/227-4500).
All visitors to Fiji must have a passport valid for at least three months beyond the date of
departure from Fiji, return or ongoing tickets and adequate funds for their stay. A one month stay
may be extended for up to six months. Inoculations are not required unless entering from a
designated infected area. Missionaries, researchers and journalists who wish to stay more than
14 days in Fiji must secure a work permit from a Fijian Embassy. No visa is required for North
Americans.
There is a departure tax at Nadi Airport of F$20 for international passengers over the age of 12.
Low season is April-November and high season is December-March
