Death Valley Travel Tip
Scotty's Castle Living History Tours are given by Park Rangers in period clothing every couple of hours. Tours last
about 50 minutes. Expect to wait during busy times of the year and buy your tickets as soon as you arrive. German,
French, Spanish and Japanese translations are available as well as texts for the hearing impaired. Although cameras
with flash and camcorders are permitted, big bags, tripods, backpacks and strollers are not allowed. Wheelchairs are
available. A self-guided tour book is available for a fee. Castle grounds and picnic areas are open and free to the
public from 7 am to 6 pm. Services include a bookstore, gift shop, snack bar and a gasoline pump.
Guided Tours:
"Living History" tours of the Castle interior are held every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fees are charged for the tours:
Adults $8.00 (with disabilities) $4.00
Senior Citizens (62 years or older) $4.00
Children 6 to 11 years old $4.00 (with disabilities) $2.00
Children 5 years and younger are Free
