Places to Stay in Dusseldorf
Dusseldorf Travel Tip
by Lorry Patton

I stayed at the Dusseldorf Holiday Inn, a most charming and bright hotel, even though the street was under demolition during our stay and the bell cap had to walk a good distance to get our luggage. Holiday Inns are as different from one another as McDonalds are the same, but you can expect Holiday Inns to be clean, with a pleasant staff and a more than a average number of business guests.
The Dusseldorf Holiday Inn has a newly renovated good size lobby. The adjacent restaurant serves a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning which was included in the price of our room. Location is perfect -- right in the heart of the shopping district and within walking distance of the Old Town and all the Christmas Market Squares.
Dusseldorf claims to have many faces; to be sure, they have plenty of beds -- more than 15,5500 in the city, 54,500 in the regent and 3,500 beds in private dwellings -- all within a 30 mile radius and all with connections to everything.
The official website to Dusseldorf and more informaton on the hotels and how to book is currently in German only, but soon will be available in English. The website address is Duesseldorf. See our address directory for a listing of the Holiday Inn Dusseldorf. Holiday Inn Dusseldorf
