Getting Married in The Bahamas
  Long Island Travel Tip

heart.jpg If you want to get married in the Bahamas and you don't want to wait the 15 days required to obtain a marriage license call 1-888-NUPTIAL (687-8425 or 242-322-3316) and ask about exceptions to these rules. And remember to bring your birth certificates and affidavits -- and the divorce papers and death certificates of former spouses if they apply.

If you would rather write for more information the address to the Registrar General Office is P.O. Box N-532, Nassau, Bahamas or see your nearest Bahamas Consulate.
