Vancouver Weather
Vancouver Travel Tip
Vancouver has four seasons, but the differences are not severe. Winters are wet and snow falls
occasionally, but it doesn't stick around very long.
Summers are warm and breezy and rarely does the temperature become too hot for comfort.
Average summer temperatures are in the high 60's, low 70's. Occasionally, the thermometer
climbs to the 80's, but at any time of the year, it can drop 10 degrees when a cloud drifts in front
of the sun.
Falls are mild until its overcast or raining, then they are quite chilly, yet September can be
surprisingly warm.
Spring is damp and rainy and never depressing because of the flowering trees, the early daffodils
and tulips and it too can be warm enough for tee-shirts and shorts.
In other words, there is no predictable month. Always be ready to cancel plans for picnics in the
park, but that's not too say that weeks don't go by without a drop of rain. Best to pack a bright
raincoat, rubber boots and a sturdy umbrella and enjoy the clean air and green landscape.
