Death Valley

Death Valley is located in southern California. Six highways run into the park. Highways 190 and 178 from the west; highways 267, 374, and 373 from the east, and highway 127 from the southeast. The valley is a narrow gorge running north and south for approximately 140 miles ranging from six to twenty miles in width. Proper exploration of the valley takes several days, however, you can go in and come out the other side in one day.
