Mamanuca Islands

About a dozen islands make up the Mamanuca Islands (pronounced mama- nutha ). Located just off the west coast of Viti Levu and just fifteen minutes away from Nadi International airport by air, many have been privately-owned island resorts for years, like Castaway and Beachcomber. Their atmosphere ranges from secluded romantic getaways to touristy destinations pulsating with young couples looking for fun in the sun. All are embraced in Fiji's welcoming hospitality and plenty of sweeping white sand beaches, blue lagoons and golden sunshine. Ease of access by air or water makes them popular with day trippers.
