Mexico is located on the North American continent on the south side of United States. We have toured the country extensively, driving as far down as the Yucatan and back up through the Baja. And almost everywhere we went we were greeted like welcome guests. The only places we felt any hostility was where the population was 90% transient tourists.

Climate throughout the country is warm and comforting. It can get hot in the inner cities in the summer and cool in the mountains in the winter. Mexico City is smoggy and traffic-congested.

Driving in Mexico's cities is a hair-raising experience; unless you can handle confusion, don't attempt it.

Peso is the country's currency. Most places in major cities take US dollars and major credit cards.
