Cuba is the largest island in the West Indies. It is located south of the Tropic of Cancer in the Caribbean Sea. Its western tip extends into the Gulf of Mexico between Florida and the Yucatan Peninsula. Havana, its capital city is only 92 miles from Key West, Florida, USA. Population is roughly 11 million. It is one of four islands (Jamaica, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico are the other three) that make up the Greater Antilles archipelago.
