Sun-kissed white-sand beaches ring much of Cuba and the many crooked bays and inlets create a 2,000 mile shoreline. The major industry is cane sugar. Over half the land is devoted to growing this product. Tobacco is also a viable crop, producing the famous Cuban cigar, craved by most cigar afficionado.

Cuba's leader Fidel Castro, has ruled the country with a father-like hand since 1958 and although tourism dropped dramatically after the revolution, the beauty of the islands still draws thousands upon thousands from Canada and Europe. Language is Spanish and the capital city and largest on the island is Havana.
